When colleagues Charlotte Edwards and Emma Gray launched their business five years ago, they had one guiding belief that selling a home should feel personal, not transactional. The business originally began with a single office at Fort Dunlop, before relocating to Coleshill in 2021. Building on continued success, the team expanded further this year with the launch of new offices in Solihull and Lichfield.

Having worked together at an online estate agency, Charlotte and Emma saw an opportunity to bring a more human touch to property sales, one that values trust and long term relationships as much as results.

That philosophy has guided the business through steady growth to where it is today. In March, the pair opened their Lichfield branch, followed by the launch of their Solihull office in June, strengthening their presence across the region alongside their established Coleshill base.

The expansion has been supported by an experienced team working collaboratively across all three offices, as well as a shared office space with a local mortgage company. This practical setup allows buyers and sellers to access expert advice and support under one roof.

“What sets us apart from other companies is our commitment to giving every client one dedicated point of contact,” says Charlotte. “Rather than dealing with a different person for viewings, negotiations, and sales progression, clients work with the same expert from start to finish. It creates a service that’s smooth, consistent, and grounded in trust, something our clients really value.”

That sense of consistency is matched by care, at the company, every move is treated as a personal milestone, not just a property exchange. The team recognise the emotional weight behind each sale and go out of their way to build reassurance and rapport. It’s a more measured, people-first approach in an often fast-paced industry.

Flexibility is another of their hallmarks. While many high street agents close their doors at weekends, Edwards and Gray continue to work, offering evening appointments and staying reachable through WhatsApp. They also partner with a professional photographer and videographer to ensure each listing is presented to the highest standard, because, as Charlotte notes, attention to detail really does make all the difference.

Like the business itself, the property market has seen change this year. Budget announcements and ongoing uncertainty about property taxes have made some buyers and sellers cautious, with talk of possible stamp duty adjustments adding to the speculation. But rather than slowing down, Charlotte and Emma have noticed many homeowners using the winter months to prepare for a fresh start in January. Viewings and valuations have remained brisk as people position themselves for the new year surge.

To meet that momentum, the team is offering a free marketing package this winter, including professional photographs, two video tours, and a featured Rightmove listing, giving early sellers a head start in what’s expected to be a busy opening quarter.

Five years on, Edwards and Gray’s success still rests on the same foundation they started with: genuine connection. In a landscape often dominated by quick deals and online forms, their approach, blending experience with empathy, feels like a welcome return to what estate agency should be: personal, transparent, and built on trust.
